Peeling Apples

Brook likes to make apple pies for her sons, Andy, Mark and JJ. So trying to be a good house partner I peel the apples. I can peel a whole apple with the skin intact. It's easy with a good peeler. So the pie is off to Andy's house. I didn't go. It's all good.

In honor of Veterans' Day I just got of the phone with my Dad Fred and Lois' Dad Wendell. Both veterans. It was really nice they didn't expect to be called on Veterans Day. I didn't have much time to speak with my Dad because he had to go but I did get to speak a while with Wendell. He's such a good guy. He lost his wife a couple years ago and they had a good loving relationship. I said we hadn't talked about this before but I said to him how he must miss her. He was appreciative. When he asked how I was doing I said I am blessed like you were in that I am in a very good loving relationship. He asked a couple of times how I was feeling and I relented and told him I could be doing better (I feel like shit). Among good people he knew what I meant. Many good feelings between the two of us. It meant a lot to me. Just to say I also talk on the phone to Francis, my mother-in-law because I love her too. And their kids, Lois, Tom and Julia. And all their kids too.
I have a lot of great people to love!!! Isn't that great!!!
