FDR tried to fix the Great Depression by creating jobs in the public sector. It's obvious by the big corporations that laying off workers improves their balance sheets but when U.S. workers don't have jobs, how is the economy going to progress. Irony? An irony of greed. I agree we need to keep people working. Is it time for the government to create jobs like it is trying to create banking viability? I say yes. Socialistic propaganda by the Palin/McCain ticket is a dead issue. We need government help for all the men and women losing their jobs. Fix up the public roads. Fix up the need for the government national park system. Fix up the support for our education.
Pay for folks to support education. Why not? Won't it improve our nations future?
Why not? It would be a good thing for folks where poverty and crime reign. Where men and women are given an opportunity to save our country going forward into the future. To provide assistance to our young, to our elderly, to our parks and veteran families.
