Traitors

These are the Senators who voted against saving the U.S. auto industry. Traitors to our security and our viability as an industrial power. Vote them out.

On the other hand, Rich, perhaps we should applaud these brave senators for realizing we are a capitalistic society, and as such, government should not be handing out money to every business that is failing. Where are the billions going to come from? Taxpayers. There is only so much money available from taxes. We already well over our collective head with debt, and now the socialists in Washington want our great-grandchildren paying for our mistakes. Let Detroit file for bankruptcy so they can reorganize their union contracts such that they are not paying such overly high wages and benefits. They now lose an average of $1500 per car they sell. Cannot the union reps take some cuts to protect what jobs there are instead of demanding more than there is to get?
